Privacy first. Every tool on this site runs entirely in your browser. Your files, text and calculations never leave your device — nothing is uploaded to or stored on any server.

1 Overview

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the free online tools provided at intewise.com/tools (the "Tools"), operated by Intewise Technologies Private Limited ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using any Tool, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Tools.

2 Description of the Tools

The Tools are a collection of browser-based utilities — including text converters, file-format converters, financial calculators and data-matching helpers — designed to run entirely on the client side using JavaScript within your web browser.

  • No server processing. All computation happens locally in your browser. We do not receive, process or store any data you enter or any file you load into a Tool.
  • No account required. The Tools are publicly accessible and do not require registration, login or any form of authentication.
  • No tracking. We do not use cookies or analytics scripts on the Tools pages to track your individual activity.

3 Acceptable use

You may use the Tools for any lawful purpose. You agree not to:

  • Use the Tools in any way that violates applicable local, national or international law or regulation.
  • Attempt to interfere with, disrupt or place an undue burden on the Tools or their underlying infrastructure.
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile or extract the source code of the Tools beyond what is permitted by applicable law (the client-side source is visible in your browser by design).
  • Remove, alter or obscure any copyright, trademark or other proprietary notices.
  • Redistribute, resell or rebrand the Tools as your own product or service.

4 Intellectual property

All content, code, design and branding of the Tools are the property of Intewise Technologies Private Limited or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any ownership rights in the Tools or their underlying technology.

You retain all rights to the data you input into the Tools. We make no claim over your inputs, outputs or any file you process — because we never see them.

5 Privacy and data handling

The Tools are designed with a zero-data architecture:

  • No files, text or calculation inputs are transmitted to any server.
  • No personal information is collected or stored.
  • The only local storage used is a recently-used list and a theme preference saved in your browser's localStorage, which never leaves your device and can be cleared at any time by clearing your browser data.

Some tools load open-source libraries and web fonts from external CDNs on demand. Those providers may log standard HTTP request metadata (such as IP address). Please refer to their respective privacy policies for details.

6 Disclaimer of warranties

The Tools are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied or statutory, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy or non-infringement.

In particular:

  • We do not guarantee that the Tools will produce correct, complete or error-free results.
  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted or secure access to the Tools.
  • You are solely responsible for verifying any output before relying on it for professional, financial, legal or other consequential decisions. The financial calculators are for illustration only and are not investment advice.

7 Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Intewise Technologies Private Limited, its owners, employees and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, revenue or business opportunity arising from or related to your use of, or inability to use, the Tools — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Tools shall not exceed the amount you paid us for access to the Tools (which, as the Tools are free, is zero).

8 Open-source components

The Tools are built with vanilla JavaScript and, only when a tool needs them, load a small number of unmodified open-source libraries from a public CDN:

  • SheetJS (xlsx) — Apache License 2.0 — used by the Phone Number Formatter and Excel Matcher.
  • pdf.js — Apache License 2.0 — used by the PDF converters and PDF to Text.
  • tesseract.js — Apache License 2.0 — used by Image to Text (OCR).
  • Instrument Sans — SIL Open Font License 1.1.

Full attribution is available in THIRD-PARTY-NOTICES.txt. These components remain the property of their respective owners and are used under their own licences.

9 Changes to the Tools and these Terms

We may modify, suspend or discontinue any Tool at any time without notice. We may also update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Effective" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Tools after any change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

10 Governing law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Tools shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Pune, Maharashtra, India.
